At Stop Stalker, we believe privacy is a fundamental human right. Unlike many "free" apps that monetize your data, our business model is simple: we sell a professional tool, and you keep your data. This Privacy Policy outlines exactly how our application handles your information.
1. Zero Data Collection
We are proud to operate with a Zero Data Collection policy. We do not operate a cloud server to store user data, scan results, or personal information. All processing—including hidden device detection, network scanning, and photo analysis—occurs 100% locally on your iOS device.
2. On-Device Processing
When you use features like the Network Scanner or Bluetooth Detector, the app analyzes signals in your immediate vicinity. This data is processed in real-time by your iPhone's processor and is discarded immediately after the result is displayed. No logs of your scans are sent to us or any third parties.
3. Permissions Usage
To function effectively, Stop Stalker requires specific permissions. Here is exactly why we ask for them:
- Local Network: Required to scan your Wi-Fi network for intruder devices. We only list devices; we do not snoop on traffic.
- Bluetooth: Required to detect nearby BLE trackers (like AirTags) and hidden electronics.
- Camera: Required for the visual "Lens Detector" feature to use the flash and viewfinder. No images are recorded unless you manually take a snapshot.
- Photo Library: Required specifically for the "Photo Privacy Shield" to allow you to select a photo, remove its metadata, and save the clean copy back to your library.
- Microphone: Required for the Ultrasonic Beacon detector functionality. Audio is analyzed for frequency spikes and never recorded.
4. Third-Party Services
We do not use third-party analytics SDKs (like Google Analytics or Facebook Pixel) inside the app. Your usage patterns remain private to you.
